Enameled Cast Iron Wholesale for European Retail and Boutiques

European buyers pay for design, not discounts. Meiloz supplies LFGB certified enameled cast iron in your Pantone color, with chip-resistant glaze, boutique-grade packaging and certification documents your retail buyer can file on day one. Custom from 500 pcs, sea freight 25-35 days.

The problem in European sourcing

Why EU Buyers Reject Shelf Proposals

Kitchenware buyers in Germany, France and the Benelux sort suppliers on three gates before they ever negotiate price. Most Chinese factories fail one of them.

Problema

Compliance paperwork is not ready

EU retail buyers ask for LFGB food-contact reports before a line enters the assortment. Suppliers who answer “we can test later” get dropped, because a failed listing costs the buyer shelf space for a season.

Problema

Cracked and chipped enamel returns

Cheap enamel crazes, chips and discolors after a few uses. Boutiques sell on reputation, and one bad batch of chipped Dutch ovens returns an entire container as a claim.

Problema

Colors look generic on shelf

Public-mold pots in stock red and stock blue sit next to everyone else’s offer. European consumers choose enameled cast iron by color and finish first. Without brand-exclusive shades, you are a price comparison.

What it costs to ignore

A Retail Listing Lost Is a Year of Shelf Rent

  • Boutiques do not restock surprises. One chipped-enamel claim season and your brand leaves the assortment. Premium retail is slow to grant and fast to withdraw.
  • Missing documents freeze orders. Without LFGB reports at proposal time, the buyer moves to the next file in the stack, and re-entry waits for the next range review cycle.
  • Long freight punishes late planning. With 25-35 days at sea plus production, a decision made in September is a shelf-out in the spring range.
  • Stock colors cannot build a brand. A private line needs its own shade, matched, approved and held in your mold, not borrowed from the factory’s default palette.

The Meiloz answer

Built for the Way European Retail Actually Buys

Solution · Compliance

LFGB first, documents in the box

All products are tested to LFGB food-contact grade for Europe (and FDA for the US), from a BSCI-audited factory. Certification documents ship with every order so your retail buyer files compliance the day the proposal lands. No “we can test later”.

Solution · Enamel quality

Chip-resistant glaze on a controlled line

Enamel is applied on our own glazing line and each batch is inspected before packing, so color and coating thickness stay consistent across thousands of pieces. Dutch ovens braisers and serveware hold up to restaurant use and home ovens to 260°C (500°F).

Solution · Color program

Your Pantone, free color samples

Regular colors: black, red, blue, green, pink, white, gray and yellow. Any Pantone shade can be matched, and we send free Pantone color samples before you commit. Pair a brand-exclusive shade with cast raised logo or laser engraving, from only 500 pcs.

Solution · Presentation

Boutique-grade packaging and care

Color gift boxes with hangtags, care inserts in your language, and multilingual guides that protect the enamel from thermal-shock misuse. Retail-ready turnkey delivery, induction compatible for every European hob.

European Buyer Questions, Answered

The checks EU purchasing managers run first, with straight numbers. Reply within one working day on anything else.

Ask a Question
Is Meiloz enameled cast iron LFGB certified for Europe?

Yes. All products are tested to LFGB food-contact grade standards for Europe and FDA standards for the USA, from a BSCI-audited factory. Certification documents are provided with every order to support worry-free sales.

Can we order custom Pantone colors?

Yes. We keep black, red, blue, green, pink, white, gray and yellow in regular runs and match any Pantone shade on request. Free Pantone color samples arrive before you commit.

Is the cookware induction compatible?

Yes. Every Meiloz line works on gas, electric, induction and open fire, and is oven-safe to 260°C (500°F). Induction compatibility is stated in your listing assets.

How does chipping get prevented?

We use a chip-resistant enamel applied on our own glazing line, batch-inspected before packing. Multilingual care guides in every carton teach buyers to avoid thermal shock, the main cause of enamel claims.

What are lead times to Northern European ports?

Sea freight runs 25-35 days. Production takes 35-55 days standard, 45-60 for complex custom. Sampling is 25-35 days for custom, and stock samples ship in 3 days.
