This Privacy Policy explains how Meiloz (“we”, “us”, “our”), a cast iron cookware manufacturer with manufacturing in Shandong and export operations in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China, collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when you visit ميلوز دوت كوم or contact us for a wholesale inquiry.

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Meiloz is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This site is a business-to-business platform intended for company representatives and professional buyers.

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and serve you as a B2B customer:

• Information you give us. Your name, company name, job title, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and the content of your inquiry (products, quantities, target prices, drawings or specifications you attach) when you submit our contact or quotation forms, email us, or message us on WhatsApp.
• Catalog requests. If you download our product catalog, we store the email address you provide so we can deliver it and, where you opt in, send relevant updates.
• Order and account information. If you become a customer, we collect billing and shipping details, order history and correspondence needed to fulfill the contract.
• Technical information. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).

03How we use your information

• To respond to your quotation request, sample request or other inquiry, normally within one working day.
• To deliver requested materials such as the 2026 catalog, compliance documents and product specifications.
• To process, produce, ship and support your orders, including quality documentation and warranty handling.
• To send marketing communications where you have consented, with an unsubscribe option in every message.
• To improve our website, product range and service quality based on how visitors use the site.
• To comply with legal obligations, including export, customs and tax record-keeping.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use customer inquiry data for any purpose beyond the ones listed above.

04Legal bases for processing

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: your consent (contact forms, catalog downloads, marketing emails); performance of a contract (order processing and delivery); legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, website improvement, fraud prevention); and legal obligation (customs, tax and export records).

Transactional messages essential to an existing order (quotation updates, shipping notices) may still be sent to that order’s contact address.

07Sharing and third parties

We share personal data only with trusted providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:

• Hosting and site operations: our website hosting provider and content delivery services.
• Communication: WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to contact us through it, and email delivery services.
• Logistics: freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers, who receive the shipping and company details necessary to deliver your goods.
• Analytics: service providers such as Google Analytics in aggregate or pseudonymous form.
• Professional advisors and authorities: accountants, lawyers or public bodies where required by law.

All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. We never transfer your data for their own independent marketing use.

08International transfers

Our main operations are based in China. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data submitted through this website may be transferred outside your region. Where GDPR requires it, we protect such transfers with standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards, and hosting providers offering EU data-residency options are used where available.

09Data retention

We keep inquiry data for up to 3 years from your last contact with us, order and accounting records for as long as Chinese tax and export laws require, and marketing subscription data until you unsubscribe. After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

10Security

We protect personal data with transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls limited to staff who need the data for their work, and secure storage of quotation files and drawings. Confidential customer designs and molds are additionally protected by our mutual confidentiality commitment described in the Terms of Service.

11Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may request: access to your personal data; rectification of inaccurate data; erasure of data no longer needed; restriction of or objection to processing; portability of data you gave us; and withdrawal of consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. To exercise any right, email hello@meiloz.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

12Children’s privacy

This website is intended for business users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or applicable laws change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting registered customers are communicated by email.
